Although this blog is primarily read by visitors to the Wisconsin Dells, I do get a fair number of hits from readers in and around Wisconsin Dells.  This deal is for them.

The International Crane Foundation in Baraboo is offering free admission this weekend for people who live or work in Sauk County or Wisconsin Dells.  Admission is typically $8.50 for adults and $4.00 for children, so this is a good deal.  In order to get in free, you should have bring your drivers license or a piece of mail that shows your address.  I am unsure how this would work if you live in another county but work in Sauk County or the Dells.  I am guessing if you bring some evidence of your employment, that would be sufficient.  They are open from 9:00 until 5:00 Saturday and Sunday with guided tours at 10:00, 1:00, and 3:00.

You can find out more about this special offer by visiting the International Crane Foundation website.

My favorite type of crane, the Sandhill Crane.
