$6 Admission to Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park on Saturday

As if there wasn’t enough to do in Wisconsin Dells already this weekend! On Saturday, you can get $6 admission to Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park (normally $20). This is a special deal and fundraiser for the Necedah Area Schools. $1 from each ticket sale will go to the school district. To get this deal, just mention that you are there for the Necedah Area Schools Family Fun Day at the ticket booth.

Although the outdoor theme park (roller coasters & go karts) is closed for the season, there is plenty to do in the indoor theme park and water park. The indoor theme park features a roller coaster, bumper cars, and other rides and play areas. The indoor water park is 55,000 square feet, and has several water slides, a lazy river, a kiddie play area, hot tubs and more.

Take a break from the Autumn Harvest Fest activities on Saturday and head over to Mt. Olympus. For $6 admission, this deal is hard to beat!

Discounted Dells Attractions this Weekend

As a part of the Autumn Harvest Fest this weekend, there are several top notch Dells attractions that are offering Buy One Get One Free admissions during the festival. In order to take advantage of these deals, you need to have the Autumn Harvest Fest brochure to present when you buy your tickets at the attraction. The brochure is available to print online here.

I spoke with a representative of the Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau, and she wasn’t sure if printed copies of the brochure would be accepted by the different attractions. Not to be concerned though, since brochures are available at the Visitors Bureau’s offices located at 701 Superior Street in downtown Wisconsin Dells. The Visitors Bureau is open from 8:30 – 5:00, 7 days a week.

Wisconsin Dells On Tap Beer Tasting this Saturday

As part of the Autumn Harvest Fest going on in downtown Wisconsin Dells this weekend, the annual Wisconsin Dells on Tap is happening too. On Saturday, October 18th from Noon until 5:00, visitors will have the opportunity to sample over 100 different beers from 30 different Wisconsin microbreweries. Each brewery will have several of their specialty beers available for sampling. In addition to the beers, Carr Valley Cheese will be offering cheese sampling and the Mt. Horeb Mustard Museum will have mustard samples.

The annual Wisconsin Dells Autumn Harvest Fest is this weekend, October 18th and 19th. This is the 11th year of this festival, and seems to be getting better every year. This year they have added a pie contest to the already full schedule of events. There is plenty to do for all ages. Some of the scheduled events are:

The festival takes place downtown in the area surrounding the Wisconsin Dells Municipal Building. The events start at 9:00 on Saturday morning, and wrap up 3:00 on Sunday afternoon. In conjunction with the festival, there are some really good deals available on some of the Dells attractions around town. I’ll post about those deals later in the week.
