More Dells Spring Break Specials

When I wrote last week about the different Spring Break deals being offered at Wisconsin Dells resorts, I focused on the big water park resorts – Chula Vista, Great Wolf Lodge, Hotel Rome, Kalahari & Wilderness. There are also some good deals to be found at some of the smaller hotels in the Dells over the next several weeks. I’ll cover some of those specials in this post.

Copa Cabana

The Dells.com newsletter recently featured some special rates at Copa Cabana. In addition to the special rates, you get 2 free passes to the Tommy Bartlett Exploratory just for printing out the coupon on the Copa Cabana website. The specials are available for stays through April 30th. The rates are as follows:

Sunday – Thursday $55-$75 a night
Friday $75-$85 a night
Saturday $75-$120 a night

Reservations can be made by calling the Copa Cabana at 800-364-2672.

Raintree Resort

The Raintree Resort is running a “buy 2 nights, get the third night free” promotion through the end of March. Rates at the Raintree start at $110 on Friday & Saturday nights and $90 during the week. Taking into account the buy 2 nights, get 3 promotion, you would end up paying $60 a night for a midweek stay. Details of the promotion can be found on the Raintree Resort website. To take advantage of this promotion, reservations must be made over the phone by calling 877-254-7400.

Skyline Hotel & Suites

The Skyline Hotel & Suites is offering rooms for $49 a night during the week, or $69 a night on the weekend. The best part of the deal is that each room includes passes for everyone to Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park, located across the street. Passes to Mt. Olympus alone typically cost $20 each. Stays at Skyline also include a free continental breakfast during the week. Hilton Garden Inn

If you are looking for a more traditional lodging experience with some added Wisconsin Dells fun, the Hilton Garden Inn has a decent offer. $130 a night includes your room, 2 passes to the Wilderness water parks, 2 cocktails or sodas or a pitcher of beer, a pizza, and a made to order breakfast for 2. More details are available on the Hilton website. This deal is called the “All Inclusive Winter” special.

This is by no means a complete list of hotel specials around the weeks of Easter in Wisconsin Dells. The four hotels mentioned in this post have some unique specials worth looking in to.

Flake Out Festival Deals and Special Hotel Rates

If you are visiting the Wisconsin Dells this weekend, there are many excellent deals being offered in conjunction with the annual Flake Out Festival. There are several Dells attractions offering discounted admissions as well as discounts at many Dells restaurants and hotels. In order to take advantage of these special deals, you need to have the Flake Out Festival brochure to present when you buy your tickets at the attraction or visit the restaurant. The brochure is available to print online here. Brochures are also available at the Visitors Bureau’s offices located at 701 Superior Street in downtown Wisconsin Dells. The Visitors Bureau is open from 8:30 – 5:00, 7 days a week.

2 Nights at Copa Cabana or Antiqua Bay plus Wilderness Water Park Passes $89

If you are the type of traveler who likes to take advantage of deals offered by sitting through a timeshare presentation, then this deal is for you. A website called 89 Dollar Travel offers 2 nights at the Copa Cabana Resort, or Quality Inn Antiqua Bay Resort, plus 2 passes to the Wilderness Water Park -or- a $50 Gift Certificate to a “popular restaurant” for $89. In exchange for this deal, you agree to sit through a 90 minute sales presentation, where they will try to sell you a timeshare.

This type of deal isn’t for everyone. If you can’t stand the idea of spending part of your vacation in a sales presentation, then you should pass. If you want to get a great deal though and don’t mind the sales pitch, this could be a very inexpensive get away (or a very expensive one if you can’t say no!).

The timeshare presentation is through Bluegreen Corp., which manages 2 properties in the Dells area – Christmas Mountain Village & Bluegreen Odyssey Dells (which is a part of the Hotel Rome property at Mt. Olympus).
