Kalahari Discount Deals for 2010

The dates for the special discounted Kalahari Family Nights at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells were recently updated and include 14 dates for reduced rates in 2010. Rooms start at $109 for a Desert or Hut room. Other room styles are also available at special discounts.

There are also discounted dates available for the Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, Ohio. Great Kalahari September Deal

There is a great deal available at the Kalahari for the night of September 11, 2009. For $109, you get your choice of a Hut or Desert Room and a breakfast buffet the next morning (other room types are also available at additional cost). As an added bonus, for just $5 more per person you can get passes to the new Kalahari Indoor Theme Park. Typically these passes are $20 each for hotel guests.

This deal is available through the Kalahari Family Nights program. In addition to the September 11th date, several other dates are available for the reduced rate of $109:

Flake Out Festival Deals and Special Hotel Rates

If you are visiting the Wisconsin Dells this weekend, there are many excellent deals being offered in conjunction with the annual Flake Out Festival. There are several Dells attractions offering discounted admissions as well as discounts at many Dells restaurants and hotels. In order to take advantage of these special deals, you need to have the Flake Out Festival brochure to present when you buy your tickets at the attraction or visit the restaurant. The brochure is available to print online here. Brochures are also available at the Visitors Bureau’s offices located at 701 Superior Street in downtown Wisconsin Dells. The Visitors Bureau is open from 8:30 – 5:00, 7 days a week.

Dells Deals: Kalahari Family Nights or “The Don White Block”

As I eluded to in a couple of other previous posts, there are great deals available at the Kalahari for those who know about them. The Don White Block is a block of rooms that is available for a special low rate of $109 several times a year. Don White is a Madison teacher who started setting up trips for his school and others. Word quickly spread about how good the deals were, and now Don makes the deal available to anyone who asks for it. Initially I was a little skeptical that there might be a catch, but there isn’t. When we visited the Kalahari a couple of weeks ago, we stayed as a part of the Don White Block, and were treated to a breakfast buffet and tokens for the game room for the kids (these extras were only available for the September date).

Dells Deals: Great deal at the Kalahari this weekend

If you are available to travel to the Dells on short notice, there is a great deal available at the Kalahari this weekend. For $109/night, you can stay in a Desert Room in the main hotel, or a Hut room in the condo complex. Included with your stay is a full breakfast buffet on Saturday morning, and 25 game room tokens for each guest under the age of 18. The $109 rate is available Friday September 5th and also Saturday September 6th if you stay Friday night too. Considering the normal rate is $150 a night or so with no freebies, this deal is too good to pass up.

To book this deal, call 877-525-2427 and mention the “Don White Block”. The Don White Block is a great deal for those “in the know”. Several times a year, this deal is made available to those who know about it. A future blog posting will detail more about the Don White Block and how you can take advantage of these incredible rates at the Kalahari.
